Internal linking
Internal linking is how the pages on your own site link to each other.
It does 2 jobs: it helps people find the next thing, and it tells Google which of your pages matter and what they're about.
The words in the link carry the meaning, so "blocked drain repairs in Adelaide" says more than "click here".
A page with links pointing at it from around the site is easy for Google to find, and Google uses those links to judge what the page is about.
Your homepage usually holds the most strength, so what it links to directly inherits some of that.
A sensible structure is a service hub linking down to its specifics, and each specific linking back up.
It's free and entirely under your control.
What this means for you
On a site with content already published, connecting the pages that already exist is often the best-value improvement available, and it's part of my monthly SEO routine.
