Google Ads management in Melbourne: $800+GST a month

My management fee is a flat $800+GST a month, paid month to month.

Your advertising budget is separate, set by you and paid directly to Google through an account you own.

The management fee covers campaign planning, setup, conversion tracking, weekly optimisation and reporting.

If you're comparing PPC or AdWords management, you're looking at the same Google Ads service.

It's the same fee at $2,000 a month in clicks as it is at $10,000.

“Spending less with Google Adwords yet giving us more sales leads is already a great return on investment.”
Eric St. Martins, Google review

Quick answer

I'm Chris Lourenco, and I manage Google Ads (formerly AdWords) for Melbourne businesses through Loudachris, my Adelaide-based agency. Management is a flat $800+GST a month, month to month. Your ad spend is separate, set by you and paid straight to Google from an account in your business's name, which stays yours. I run Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube and remarketing campaigns, with conversion tracking and a landing page for every service I advertise (1 per campaign).

Who manages your Melbourne Google Ads?

I do. I'm Chris Lourenco, and I build and manage every account myself.

Melbourne clients deal with me from the first call to the weekly changes and the monthly report.

I've managed 200+ campaigns and more than $3M in ad spend, and I've been Adelaide-based for 8 years.

I work with Melbourne businesses from Adelaide by phone, email and video call.

3 questions to ask any Google Ads specialist in Melbourne

  • Who runs my account each week? With me, it's me.
  • How are conversions counted? I count bookings, calls, forms and phone taps as separate actions, so each number means 1 thing.
  • Whose name is the account in? Yours, paid by your card, with its history kept.
“There are so many people and companies out there that claim to be experts in Google Ads and it can be so hard to determine who actually knows what they're talking about. And then there's Chris. From the minute we engaged his services everything has been clearly communicated and explained and delivered on time. … We've finally found our GA specialist!”

How a Melbourne Google Ads engagement runs.

Here's what happens from the day you get in touch. It starts with a free Google Ads account review, so you see my thinking before you pay anything.

  1. 1

    Free account review

I read your search terms, conversion tracking, location settings and landing pages, then send you what I find in writing.

  2. 2

    Tracking first

Bookings, calls, form enquiries and phone taps each get their own conversion action, and I watch a real one record before any budget moves.

  3. 3

    Build

Search campaigns for each service you want more of, aimed at your Melbourne suburbs, each with its own landing page. You sign off the keyword plan first.

  4. 4

    Weekly work

Every week I read the search terms, add negative keywords, test fresh ad copy and shift budget toward the campaigns bringing enquiries.

  5. 5

    Report and scale

Each month you get a plain-English report on cost per tracked conversion, and more budget goes behind the campaigns that earn it.

Google Ads and AdWords management services in Melbourne.

AdWords was renamed Google Ads in 2018, so AdWords management in Melbourne is the same service. These are the 6 parts of it I run, all on the same flat fee.

Search campaigns

Text ads for people searching for your service right now, from the CBD out to the suburbs you cover. I use exact and phrase match keywords and point each ad group at a page about that 1 service.

Performance Max

1 campaign that runs across Search, Maps, YouTube, Gmail and Display, built from your own photos, headlines and offers. I report it on its own line, so you can judge it beside your Search campaigns.

Google Shopping

For Melbourne online stores, Shopping ads show your products, prices and photos right in the results. I group the product feed so you can see which ranges earn their spend.

YouTube and remarketing

Remarketing brings back people who've already browsed your site, and YouTube puts a short video in front of Melbourne viewers. Each gets its own budget once your site has the visitor numbers to support it.

Conversion tracking

GA4, Google Tag Manager and call tracking, so each booking, call, form and phone tap is counted once and traced back to the keyword behind it.

Landing pages and the SMS lead alert

I build a landing page for every service I advertise (1 per campaign), and it's included in the fee. Each form enquiry is texted to your mobile within seconds, naming the keyword. See the landing pages I've built.

Targeting Melbourne suburbs and regional Victoria.

Melbourne covers a lot of ground, so I set your location targeting to the suburbs you serve, by suburb, postcode or radius.

CBD and inner suburbs

Richmond, Fitzroy, South Yarra

Eastern suburbs

Box Hill, Ringwood

South-east

Dandenong, Berwick, Pakenham

Western suburbs

Footscray, Werribee, Point Cook

Northern suburbs

Preston, Epping

Bayside and beyond

Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula

Your budget goes on searches from people in the areas you can reach, and I check the location report each month to keep it there.

If you also take work in Geelong, I add it to your targeting, and my page on Google Ads in Geelong covers that market.

Ballarat, Bendigo and the rest of regional Victoria join your targeting when you serve them.

Click costs vary by trade and suburb across Melbourne. In your free review I pull the real costs for your own keywords and recommend a budget from those.

Melbourne Results

A real Melbourne result: The Gut Guy's Search campaigns.

The Gut Guy, a Melbourne gut-health clinic. Search campaigns, 1 to 18 August 2026.

$84.37

per tracked conversion on the naturopath campaign, at a 4.42% conversion rate from 226 clicks and $843.72 of spend.

$140.79

per tracked conversion on the gut health testing campaign, at 2.41% from 249 clicks and $844.72 of spend.

Joshua wanted booked consultations. Across both campaigns that is 16 tracked conversions from $1,688.43 in spend over 18 days, blended at $105.53 each on a 6.76% click-through rate. The naturopath campaign is currently the stronger of the 2 and is where the budget is going.

Tracked conversions here are booked screening calls, Calendly bookings and website call clicks. A call click is an intent signal rather than a confirmed conversation, so these are tracked conversions rather than verified consultations, and I report them as what they are. This is a partial month, and I haven't annualised it. I report the SEO side of the same account separately on my Melbourne SEO page, so each channel keeps its own numbers.

The method behind these numbers, used on every Melbourne account I manage

Tracking checked first

Bookings, calls and forms are counted correctly before I change a dollar of budget.

Every conversion traced

Calls and form enquiries tied to the keyword and suburb that brought them in.

Buyer-intent keywords

Budget on people ready to book in your Melbourne service area.

Weekly optimisation

More budget behind what converts, with a note on what changed and why.

“When time is money, you can trust that Chris is on your account refining and enhancing your campaign to get you customers.”

Google Ads questions from Melbourne businesses.

How much does a Google Ads manager charge in Melbourne?
I charge a flat $800+GST a month to manage Google Ads for Melbourne businesses, month to month. Some agencies charge a percentage of your ad spend instead, so their fee rises with your budget. Mine stays the same at any budget, which means any advice I give you to spend more has to be backed by your cost per enquiry. Your ad spend is paid directly to Google, from an account you own.
Who is a Google Ads expert in Melbourne?
Look for the person who'll run your account each week, then ask how they count conversions and whose name the account is in. I'm Chris Lourenco. I build and manage every Loudachris account myself, I count bookings, calls, forms and phone taps as separate conversions, and your account stays in your name. I've managed 200+ campaigns and more than $3M in ad spend.
Is $10 a day enough for Google Ads?
Spending $10 a day comes to about $300 a month. That suits 1 tightly themed Search campaign for your core service in a handful of suburbs, run as a test of demand. How far it stretches depends on what a click costs for your keywords, so in your free review I pull the real click costs and show you what a budget that size buys.
How much ad spend do I need in Melbourne?
For a Melbourne service business, I'd usually plan a starting budget of $2,000 to $6,000 a month in ad spend, paid to Google. Legal, medical and finance keywords tend to cost more per click, so those budgets sit higher. I set your figure after reviewing your account and the real click costs on your keywords, and it grows once your cost per enquiry is steady.
Is Google AdWords the same as Google Ads?
Yes. Google renamed AdWords to Google Ads in 2018, so an AdWords agency in Melbourne and a Google Ads agency offer the same service. An AdWords account you've had for years is now a Google Ads account with its history intact, and I manage it on the same flat fee.
Will I own my Google Ads account?
Yes, it's yours. It sits in your business's name and is paid by your card, and you give my manager account access to it. If you ever move on, you remove my access, and every campaign, keyword and conversion record stays where it is.
Can you take over and review my existing account?
Yes. I start with a free Google Ads account review: you send your 10-digit Customer ID, I read the account, and you get my findings in writing, including what I'd change first. If you'd like me to take it over, I keep what's working and rebuild the rest in a planned order, so the account keeps its history.
Can you target specific Melbourne suburbs?
Yes. I target by suburb, postcode or radius, whether that's the CBD, South Yarra, Richmond, Fitzroy and Footscray or all of metro Melbourne. Your budget goes on clicks from people in the areas you serve, and Geelong or regional Victoria are included only when you take work there.
Do you manage Performance Max campaigns?
Yes. I manage Performance Max alongside Search, Shopping, Display and YouTube, and I recommend the campaign types that fit your Melbourne business. Performance Max and Shopping suit online stores with a product catalogue, and I report each campaign type separately so you can see what each one brings in.
How quickly will I see results?
Clicks start once your campaigns go live, after tracking is confirmed and you've signed off the keyword plan. Each week I read the search terms and adjust keywords, ads and budget. Each month you get a report showing tracked conversions and the cost of each, with bookings, calls, forms and phone taps listed separately, and that report is how you judge the account month by month.
