Fake copyright emails using the Loudachris name

On 29 September 2026, some businesses started receiving emails pretending to come from the "Loudachris Digital Marketing Intellectual Property Department".

The emails claim your Facebook Page is using my material and ask you to remove it within 48 hours.

They come from scammers, and the "evidence" link leads to a malicious download.

How to recognise the fake email

  • It's sent from a Gmail account with the username buzalamimes047.
  • It's laid out as a "MEMO" from an "Office of Intellectual Property", and it quotes your Facebook Page name and Page ID.
  • The subject line starts with your business name and includes "Ownership Violation Notice Fanpage".
  • It asks you to open "Records of Plagiarism.pdf" or an "Evidence Attachment", which leads to a Google Sites page with an "I'm not a robot" box.
  • It mentions the DMCA and U.S. copyright law.
  • It lists an address and phone number that aren't mine.

How to recognise a genuine message from me

  • My emails always come from an @loudachris.com.au address.
  • My mobile is 0403 454 199.
  • My office is at 21-22 Greenhill Road, Wayville SA 5034.
  • I work in Google Ads, SEO and websites, and copyright notices sit outside what I do.

If you received the email

Delete it without opening the links.

You can report it to the National Anti-Scam Centre at scamwatch.gov.au.

If you opened the download

  • Disconnect that computer from the internet and run a full antivirus scan.
  • From a different device, change your email and Facebook passwords and turn on 2-step verification.
  • Log out of all other sessions in Facebook's Accounts Centre, and check Meta Business Suite for admins or ad accounts you don't recognise.
  • Report it at cyber.gov.au, or call the Australian Cyber Security Hotline on 1300 CYBER1 (1300 292 371).
